During my observation of this flower, I saw a single bee but in my excitement I scared it away. I also found many small bugs on this species (pictured). These small bugs were something I had not considered in my pollination systems, but they do in fact serve as pollinators, whether purposely or not.
These populations were spread out in about groups of ten. Each flower had 2-6 bugs on it, I will average this to 4 for my calculations. Pollination/hour comes out to an average of 4.1, again, much lower than the national average of 10. My answer for the last question, of pollinator service as a proxy for other ecosystem services, stands the same in this case and is under the Calla Lily data.
